Play Daily Red Pokemon with six level-100 allies. REDLINE is a free, independent fan game; your first completed result counts each UTC day.
Fast Grass pressure. Leaf Blade uses Special Attack here.
Same opponent every day. Pikachu always starts.
Start Daily Red Pokemon with a plan for your lead, your switches and your rematch.
Before your Daily Red Pokemon attempt, inspect today’s six with Moves & stats. Red starts with Pikachu, so check your lead’s matchup. Keep the default team or use the optional preparation panel before pressing Battle Red.
Read the type multiplier, category, accuracy and PP on each move. Preserve an ally you will need later, and use a Tactical Scout when Red’s next action could decide your plan.
Read your Daily Red Pokemon debrief, copy your result, then rematch the seed to try another lead or decision. Your first daily result stays recorded while you practice.
In Daily Red Pokemon, Pikachu always leads. The other five can enter as the battle develops. Save a useful answer for each threat instead of spending every strong move on the opener.

| Red’s Pokémon | Moves & held item | Your battle plan |
|---|---|---|
PikachuElectric | Thunderbolt · Quick Attack · Thunder Wave · Brick Break Light Ball · Static | A Ground-type lead can give your Daily Red Pokemon run a safer opening. Ground attacks hit Electric super effectively. Electric immunity does not stop Quick Attack or Brick Break. Check your lead’s HP and defenses too. |
CharizardFireFlying | Flamethrower · Dragon Claw · Earthquake · Aerial Ace Lum Berry · Blaze | Save Rock coverage in Daily Red Pokemon: Fire / Flying takes 4× damage from Rock. Earthquake cannot hit Flying types. Charizard has coverage beyond Fire, so a type advantage alone is not a safe switch. |
BlastoiseWater | Surf · Ice Beam · Toxic · Protect Leftovers · Torrent | Use Electric or Grass damage. A strong special attacker can pressure it before it wears your team down. Ice Beam threatens Grass types; Toxic and Protect punish slow plans. Leftovers restores HP each turn. |
VenusaurGrassPoison | Giga Drain · Sleep Powder · Leech Seed · Protect Leftovers · Overgrow | Try Fire, Ice, Flying or Psychic attacks against Grass / Poison. Sleep Powder can interrupt your plan. Switching clears Leech Seed, but your incoming ally may take an attack. |
SnorlaxNormal | Body Slam · Shadow Ball · Earthquake · Rest Leftovers · Thick Fat | Use physical Fighting damage against its lower Defense rather than its high Special Defense. Ghost attacks cannot hit Normal types. Check its coverage before switching in a Fighting or Ghost teammate. |
EspeonPsychic | Psychic · Calm Mind · Reflect · Morning Sun Lum Berry · Synchronize | Dark, Ghost and Bug attacks exploit its Psychic typing. Dark Pokémon are immune to Psychic attacks. Calm Mind raises its Special Attack and Special Defense. Reflect softens physical hits, so avoid giving it repeated setup turns. |
These are matchup suggestions, not a winning script. Speed, accuracy, abilities, status and your remaining HP can change the right choice.
In Daily Red Pokemon, an attack’s type decides whether it uses Attack or Special Attack. The move buttons show the category and current matchup so you can check before committing.
For Daily Red Pokemon team planning, remember that Shadow Ball uses Attack, even on a special attacker. Swords Dance helps physical damage.
Crunch and Dragon Claw use Special Attack in Daily Red Pokemon. Dragon Dance raises Attack and Speed, so it does not boost Dragon Claw’s damage.
Voluntary switches use your turn and usually happen before attacks. Replacing a fainted ally does not spend your turn. Burn weakens physical damage; paralysis cuts Speed to a quarter. Check the move’s accuracy and PP alongside its power.
The Daily Red Pokemon challenge starts from a shared roster. Your preparation and turn-by-turn decisions are yours.
Open the optional preparation panel. Select the ally you would replace, then choose one of the two fixed reserves. Look for missing coverage or a safer switch-in; you can also keep the original six.
Review today’s teamYou have two Tactical Scouts per battle. Reveal Red’s already committed action, then attack or switch. Scouting spends no turn and has no score penalty. Save one for a risky switch or a low-HP decision.
A contract adds a bonus objective; you still need to win. Choose for your team’s strengths, rather than chasing a goal that costs the battle.
It is a daily six-on-six Pokémon battle challenge inspired by facing Red. REDLINE is an independent version: six level-100 allies from a curated Gen I–III pool, two reserve choices and Gen III battles powered by Pokémon Showdown’s simulator. There is no map to explore or Pokémon to catch.
Daily Red Pokemon shares the daily rhythm and shared starting team, but you win by choosing moves and switches, not by guessing a word or Pokémon name. Defeat Red’s six before your own team is knocked out.
REDLINE unlocks a new team at 00:00 UTC, not local midnight. The countdown above the game shows the time remaining. Players on the same UTC date and ruleset receive the same starting roster and reserve choices. Other Daily Red sites may use different teams or reset times.
With browser storage available, an unfinished battle resumes after a refresh or return visit. Only the first completed daily result is recorded, including a loss or a run you retire from. A loss still counts toward your participation streak. You can keep practicing afterward without changing that result.
Yes. Choose Practice above the arena for an unranked team before starting your daily run. After a result, Rematch this seed repeats that challenge’s starting seed so you can test another approach. Past runs offers archive practice. Practice does not change daily results or earn daily XP.
Tap or click a teammate to choose your lead, then use Battle Red. In battle, tap a move or Switch ally. On a keyboard, use 1–4 for moves, S to open switching and Esc to close a panel. You do not need emulator controls or a download.
Results and progress stay in this browser on this device. Clearing site data removes them; there is no account sync. Open View result or Past runs to copy a recorded result. A seed link shares a starting challenge, not your saved battle. Local scores are not a verified global ranking.
Winning earns 500 points, each defeated opponent adds 60, and each surviving ally adds 35. On a win, finishing below 40 turns adds 5 points per turn saved; completing your contract adds 80. Use the result’s debrief to choose one improvement for your rematch. Practice scores stay separate from your first daily result.
It is free to play with no login. It is an unofficial, independent fan project, not the original Daily Red and not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company. This version uses a custom Gen III format, not a FireRed ROM or the original trainer AI. Cosmetic XP never increases battle stats.
Choose your lead, keep an answer for Red’s back line, and see what today’s team can do.
